6th Scale Icons Inc Order Update and Progress Report

Hi Guys

I figured it was time I owed you all an update and progress report on outstanding orders. As of today I have 10 orders left to fill, these do not include the Tiger 1 stowage bins and the aluminum wheels with rubber tires.

I am taking the next few days to complete these last 10 current orders, once these are completed I will be working on the Tiger 1 stowage bins. I have 30 stowage bins to assemble and I figure these are going to take between two to three weeks. Any pending orders which are awaiting payment or any new orders that come in over the next 3 weeks will not be worked on until the bins are completed. If new orders are for current assembled stock I will ship them as payment is made.

I have shipped 84 orders since June 1st at a value of over $20,000 and thank all those concerned for their patronage, patience and kind remarks when they eventually got their parts. Once the stowage bins are completed I hope to get back to a more timely delivery and get to work on some new parts.

Aluminum wheels are in route to me via DHL and I should have them in stock this week, these will start shipping as soon as they are in stock.

88 mm round decals are in the final stages of production. Once I have a sample I will post them with all information here.

88 mm AP rounds are in short supply and HE rounds are on hold. The company that were making them have declined to produce any more of them unless I order 100,000 pieces, guess they think I am Walmart or suppling an army. I am sure you know the answer I gave them. I am looking for an alternative manufacture.

As I cannot foretell the future I recommend anyone that is planning on placing an order do so now as all new orders will be worked on and shipped in the order received. All orders that may take time to fill will only require a 50% deposit with the balance due when order is ready to ship. My invoice will reflect if a deposit or full payment is required.
