Hitec 2.4 GHz Aurora 9

Post by Nick Farrugia »

HI TO ALL
I was looking for a transmitter for my pz1v and going through the forum their wasnt a lot of choice as to what to get their was a list that mark put up of about four that he new of that were compatible with armortek electrics . I tried to get a futaba 7c but gill was out of stock at the time ,but they were on order . THE Hitec aurora was not on the list so i didnt know what to do ,but gambled anyway . Image
Image I am happy to say that i havent had any problems with the set up of the set and all seems to be working just fine, as with the futaba set it has got a ratchet on the left hand side that needs to be sorted i have been looking to see if there is a part you can get but no luck with that yet , so just thought to let you all know that this seems a good option with 9 channels to play with there is also a 7 channel as well. all the best to all,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,nick

Looks a bit like a hedgehog with all those switches

Good luck with smoothing out the other control stick. Stopping the ratchet action is usually quite easy but the newer Futabas need a lever adding as well as a spring
