Current orders. New Orders. Vacation

Post by Mike Stannard (toyrific) »

Hi Guys

Just need to give everyone a update on things happening.

I will be away from Aug. 29 to Sept. 5 and will not be able to reply to e-mails. This break is under my doctors orders, he wanted me to take longer, but I told him I have to much work to complete. Had a bunch of tests done last week, basically all is okay, but I have had a lot of stress over the last two years with my recasting problem with you know who, failure to keep up with current orders and to much work, I am worn out.

While I am away phase three of my reorganization will be completed by my assistant, this is to reduce the number of large shelf units I have in my main workshop, freeing up more floor space to enable me better access to all the machinery I have so production will be faster.

Current order situation.

I started this year with around 50 orders to complete in January, I currently have 52 on going orders. In the last 8 months I have delivered 157 orders and received 136 new orders. It looks like I am not going to catch up, most of the current orders contain a 20 Ton Jack or the large Panther set. Both of these products are way behind and there is still a way to go to complete them.

If you have a current order with me please help me work out my production schedule for when I return by e-mailing me a list of parts or your complete order that you urgently need with a deadline date. I will do my best to accommodate you.

Future orders.

To help me plan production in the future and enable me to order parts that are made by other companies such as bronze investment casting and photo-etched parts, please place your orders to coincide with when you need them. Small order are usually not a problem if I have the parts in stock and you order parts in kit form. Large orders and orders with parts that need assembly can take months to produce. Please order accordingly to suit your time frame and give me a deadline that you need them by. This will go a long way in helping me supply a better delivery service.

Regards
Mike
