new toy for tank building
I picked up a mini lathe off of amazon and while its no southbend it really comes in handy for this type of hobby.

That's a neat looking lathe - yellow and green, so I guess that means it's a Proxxon ?
I've just bought a threading dial for my lathe as I need an M14 thread cut in some aluminium bar stock - not something you can buy off the shelf. Never cut a thread on a lathe before but hopefully it will be fun to try and pick up another skill

Thats a fine looking little lathe and should serve you well. I just checked Amazon and these baby's are over $1100. Thats ok they are made in Japan and will be much more accurate and reliable than the import copies. Enjoy it! Make some cool tank parts,
