Re: Comet to Cromwell
Hi,
I think you are the one to give tips going by your sexton build. For a dozer you will have to make new sprockets as the centuar used 22 teeth with 14 inch tracks.I have cut my tracks to look like the 15,5 inch which used 18 tooth sprocket as used by some cromwells .you can cut them down and fill the holes to look like 14 inch but no sure how strong they will be. As to the rest i am having to alter just about every panel as the armour is thinner on cromwells. The Comet and the Cromwell /Centuar do look alike but they are totaly different tanks.Good luck.

Coming along nicely David
I'm amazed at the number of bolt heads on the glacis plate - had we forgotten how to weld at this point in the war

Re: Comet to Cromwell
Looking good David
I hope it hasn't taken the whole month to do one track
What's involved in shortening them
