working witth brass pieces

g'day all.
this is the first time working with brass strips & small aluminum. i have no problem soldering but how do i solder brass? i'm making jerrycan brackets but also other little things.

Hi Ray. I used this tutorial also. Useful items to have are surgical clamps. I solder both parts then hold in place with the clamps and heat with gas torch. Using the clamps on the already joind parts helps them stay joined when you heat another part. I also insulate the already soldered parts from current work with some wet tissue.
