Hi Guys
Here is a update on orders and processing. I am very busy at the moment trying to fill current orders, many of which have been back logged for some time. Now the holidays are over I am getting e-mails asking the status of orders. These individual request take time for me to answer as I have to check each order and reply. I have made up charts to help you determined how your order stands, by doing this I hope will reduce the number of requests and save me time.
Current order status and shipping.
52 orders shipped since the middle of November 2011.
57 orders currently being processed.
14 orders placed and awaiting payment.
The charts posted show all parts on order and paid for which is 622 sets. I hope from this you can see my total work load and understand why it takes time, sometimes several weeks for orders to be filled.
For all current orders and those pending payment I have all photo-etched parts and fixture in stock and all white metal and resin parts are cast.
I am working to have all these orders completed by March 1st, and plan to ship around 10 orders a week which is about the maximum I can do.
The reason for the March 1st deadline is I am moving to a smaller workshop during March to reduce my overhead's, this move has to be completed by March 31st as that is the day the lease on my current shop ends.
This move should not effect filling orders to much as the new workshop is only two blocks away.
Here are the charts, these I use in my shop to keep track of overall parts to fill orders and keep me up to date on what needs to be made. These are as of 01/07/12.
A = Parts to be assemble. K = Kits
Green notation = Parts completed and in customer order bins or already shipped.
Orange notation = Parts being worked on and in various stages of completion.
Red notation = Parts to be assemble and kits to be packaged. Note all parts for these are in stock.
Please check your order against to charts to figure out the status. If you have any concerns contact me.
Regards
Mike
