Happy Christmas from Armortek

Post by Armortek »

Yet another busy year comes to a close, and we want to say a very big thank you to you all, for your loyal custom, without which Armortek would not be the success that it is.

Despite the weather not being quite so kind this year, we had another very well attended open day in September. It gives us great pleasure to see the work that goes into the building and finishing of the kits and the quality just gets better year on year.

We have also been to several shows this year. It is good to have the opportunity to show the models to the public and attract new customers, however these are always good social events, and to those of you who have joined us during the year, we want to thank you very much for your support.

It has been a busy year for production too, with the Panther Universal Hulls , earlier in the year followed by the T34, Panzer IV and Firefly! As ever demand has been very high and nearly all kit productions have sold out. This year has not been the easiest, and some delays have occurred as a result, however the understanding and kindness of so many of you is beyond anything we should expect, and we just want to say how very much that is appreciated.

We are really looking forward to 2012. Our new high efficiency motion pack will be coming on line and as always we are thinking hard as to what we will be offering in the way of new models, and as ever will be listening to your suggestions!

We will be at several shows during the year (details to be published next month) and we look forward to seeing many of you then.

We will be closing tomorrow Friday 23rd and will re open 3rd January. I am going to try and catch up on my e-mails over the holidays, so you may still hear from me!

Finally of course we would like to wish you all a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Gill and Mark

Hello factory,

A34 Comet Hull 041, sends Season's Greeting to all the machines, shelves, stores, etc, back at Dunkeswell, also their very tallented operators and organisers.

For my Chritmas wish list; the company of a Morris Quad or Ferret would be very nice, then this lonely bit of British armour would have someone to go on manoeuvres with that spoke the same language.

Happy Christmas and New Year to all.

Hi

Merry Christmas to all forum members and special thankyou to Gill and Mark, for sending me the best Christmas present (Firefly 008).

I thought I would post a special Christmas card, that my father in law sent to his new wife, from Iceland, Christmas 1941.
Fortunately he returned to the Uk at the end of January 1942, just in time to see thier first child born.
He then went India, Burma and Java.
