Another New One from Germany

Post by Günter Gäbelein »

Hi, I am living in the south of Germany, in the east of Munich. Just I am waiting for my Panzer IV. Plans are, to build a F1 version. First I had the idea, to make a bridgelayer, but I gave up this idea, because it will not be possible to operate fully automatically.
I started with RC tanks with a Königstiger in the late 1980's, had a break with models and had a restart in the late 1990's. At first I began modelling different versions of the famous Panther in 1/35 scale. Round about 35 different models are in different stages (finishing could be the hobby, when I am retired). You can find some pictures on my homepage http://www.panther-tanks.de.
In the last 10 years I moved more and more to RC tanks and created more and more models of tanks which are not availlable on the market. I started with a series of the Luftlandepanzer Wiesel, followed by the bridgelayer PSB2, the M551 Sheridan and the AEV3 Kodiak in 1/16 scale. In parallel I build a Wiesel MK20 in 1/8 scale and at least the AEV3 Kodiak in 1/10 scale. The last project is the bridgelayer PSB2 in 1/10 scale.
In the last months I was impressed more and more by the figures in 1/6 scale and decided to build also a model in this big scale.
On my homepage you will also find pictures of all my RC tank projects.
Kind regards
Günter
