Spare Panther Track Links (again)

Post by Tim Bowman »

Hi everyone

After much thought, I wanted to post and see what kind of interest there might be for these. I am creating spare links for my Panzer IV (with hollow horns) and have also created the spare links for the Tiger, as many already know.

I am having these quoted in large quantities to see what the pricing may be and they will be a high impact, durable material in a black color. NOT METAL. Please don't ask. I tried for the past few years and cannot afford investment cast links for the small demand.

My original links I offered were cast and finished by me and were not cost effective for me to do or offer anymore. However, with the other links I am working on, I thought I would update these as well.

The 'new and improved' Panther spare links.

Again, these are meant for the rear hull sides and/or turret on the Panther, Jagdpanther and Bergepanther. Should have a better idea of cost tomorrow. They will not include pins.

Best regards
Tim

Tiger links only to show as an example of finished parts.

Amazing parts once again Tim.

Sorry to go off piste  but, depending upon price, I would be interested
in Panzer IV links, not having a Panther to decorate

Hi Willie

Thanks for the interest. Unfortunately, pricing has come back 'crazy' high. Even with the new source who was much lower on other parts I have done. Even with very high quantities with everyone who has shown interest.

On hold at the moment. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Best regards
Tim
