Hello,
I finally made it for my first trip out with my Tiger.
Many small issues, but easy to solve.
One problem.
VERY limited TX range. That is using the Hitec TX that came with the tank (both used) the max distance was 7-8 meters. Anyway BELOW 10 meters!
Maybe I have to reposition the antenna wire, or is it a common issue due to the heavy all metal construction?
By the way, I had NOT the same problem with the Jagdpanther, but the jagd is using a 2,4ghz Futaba radio and was running with both the top and rear plate temporary removed.
General radio (TX) question

Hello Jan
Due to the nature of the beast is on 40mHz is that you have to have most of the antenna out of the tank. 2.4GHz is better but if 40mHz is all you have then have as much of the arial out as possible. Do not cut or shorten it.

If you are using a Futaba 2.4 ghz you should be able to set the transmitter to more than one model using the model select function. For the 6EX see page 14 of the manual : http://manuals.hobbico.com/fut/6ex-2_4ghz-manual.pdf
If so, you would only need to buy a second receiver.
