Track colour what do you think?

Post by Dale jordan »

I thought I would share my easy way of painting tracks . All I do is air brush them with humbrol 29 dark earth no primmer just spray it on, just enought to cover the bottom side of the tracks and then let it mist over onto the top side , as this will wear anyway once it goes over the running gear. These tracks are from my T34/76. As I have not painted my tiger and sherman tracks yet !! . I think this is a good base coat for tracks anyway let me know if you think the colour looks OK. Dale.

Dale,

Those tracks look really good, along with your T34!!

Did you use the humbrol dark earth that you were talking about on the Sixth Army Group forum?

Is your T34 RC? It does look very nice!!

Thanks,
Mike

Hi Dale

Your track color technique looks very good. Maybe it's my monitor, but a bit darker may be needed. I'm going to try the same paint and see, but it sure looks quick and easy.
