Turret visors

Post by Martin Diessel »

Due to research in various magazines, films etc. there is a wide range of the turret sight visors. Some have them to open, Some are closed, also saw them weldet w/o slot, Also some do have a rear door on the turret!?? What is this for?
So which set up would match to our models best? Martin

Hi Martin

Here's what I'm planning on using for the vision ports when the time for this project comes.

Great photos Tim

I hadn't spotted those large slotted fasteners on the rear of the turret before. It looks as though three of them are holding the antenna bracket. Interesting that they've lined them all up vertically, that must mean there is a nut on the other end.

Adrian.

Thanks Tim

It looks like the others might be holding the end of the gun bracket.
