Tiger unit histories.

Can anyone advise on a unit history book for 502[511] and 510 on the Eastern front ?
Been searching, but can only find bits in various books. Has no one written a book in any language?

Hi Simon.
Try 'Tigers in Combat', Vol. 1 & 2. Vol. 1 covers 501 - 510 and Vol. 2, SS units. You'll find camo, markings and photos. Combat diaries, inventories and losses, unit organization charts etc. The author is Wolfgang Schneider and published by Stackpole Books.

Thanks for that, i have these and they seem to cover in 'overall view'.

I was hoping for a more comprehensive written/photographic unit history, rather than piecing it together. Have'nt found it yet.

There is lots, in small bits, all over the net. Surprised no one put a book together.
