Single stick control

Post by Ad Wouterse »

Hi guys,

I am trying to help Norbert Poland with his KT electronics.
He is using a Futaba T10CG 2.4G radioset and wants to control both motors on a single stick. I have gone through the earlier postings on this matter, but unfortunately these are of no use on the a.m. radio.

An elevon/ V-tail mixing is only applicable to channels 2 and 4, i.e. on 2 sticks. Has anyone tried an alternative solution e.g. with a DMR 203 interface or a standard V-tail mixer ?
Any suggestions are most welcome.
Cheers,
Ad

Hi Ad

If you are using a DMR 203 with 4QD controllers, remove the steer mode jumper and connect the channels from the stick you want to drive on, and thats it. See page 4 of the manual to show you the jumper positions. The default position which the units are shipped is in "tank mode", i.e. 2 stick steering.

Hope this helps

Mick

Hi Mick,

Thanks for your reaction.
However, the KT has the latest Armortek electronics which no longer use the DMR 203. So the mixing of 2 channels has to be done in the radioset, but the Futaba that Norbert uses doesn't allow mixing of channels 1-2 or 3-4.
