Hi All,

I decided to machine up the MG to fit LED plus a servo lead, as the 3V bulb does not work with the Benedini Sound system. The cost of the MG will remain £16.00 if you want to fit your own LED. and £18.50 if you want it complete. Those with existing MG that has not been machined, I can supply the lead LED plus 2 pieces of fibre optic, 1.50 and 2mm which should fit existing barrels on the MG. All you would need to do is push the LED at the end and put the fibre optic down the barrel. This will also cost £2.50.
Below see photos 1] with cable fitted 2] Barrel with cable pushed up and the 2 fibre optics 3] fibre optic when lit up.

Regards
Steve

Hi Steve,
Very nice upgrade! Glad I have had it a while ago. Now I can do the same thing! :D
Steve should I use the 24V main power or one single 12V battery as the power source? :?:
Thanks!

Hi Chang

If you have the old MG with the bulb in it, it will not fit the benedini sound system. You will need the upgrade which is a 20" servo lead with a 3V LED on the end and the fibre optic which comes with the lead. see photos above.

Yes Steve,
Sorry I am not knowledgeable on this area. Please allow me asking some simple questions:

I have bought myself 3mm LED and servo leads. Do I really need the fibre optic? :?:

And as you said, the LED is 3V only. Does it need a independent 3V battery set, or can be operated by 24V or 12V major battery? :?:

Thanks and best regards,
Lerh Chang

Hi Chang,

Yes you do need the fibre optic to put down the inner barrel, as the lead is to thick to go down into the inner barrel. To make it fit you have to take the MG apart and do quite a lot of work to make it fit. The easiest way is to put the LED with the lead up the barrel and push the fibre optic at the other end, this way you do not need to do any work to the MG. Then connect the lead to the benedine system.

Hi Steve,Thanks for the advice.
Do you mean push the already wired LED into the end (left hand side) of the gun barrel, then insert the fibre optic into the muzzle (right hand side of the barrel) until they are connected? (See your photo here.)

Do they need to be glued together?

Thanks

Hi Steve,
I would like to buy the MG only for a friend of mine in Taiwan. I know the price is still £16.00. I will pay you via the Paypal.

Please tell me how much more for the postage and handling fees, and/or the Paypal's cost, etc. I will do it right after receiving your quote.

Thanks in advance.
