Blanks sources in the USA

Post by Martin Cohen »

I have not yet bought ammo to fire the gun in my Tiger but I have collected notes about sources. For starters on 12 Gauge Short blanks you could look for:

1. Cannon-Mania, LLC P.O. Box 552 Stratford, CT 06615, David Ross, Telephone: 203-378-2582
http://www.cannon-mania.com
E-Mail: cannons@cannon-mania.com

2. HI-VEL in Utah
http://www.hi-vel.com
E-Mail: hivel@xmission.com

3. LowenGunWerks, Jeff Lowe
(I know of no commercial web site)
E-Mail: gml@cityofbryan.net

As I understand it if you explain to these fellows what you intend to use the blanks for, then some vendors may custom tailor a blank to produce more smoke, or flash, or choice of color (blacker or grayer).

You might post a followup here if you are served well by a vendor.

Hi Rocky,

Hi-Vel should be able to supply the blanks as a standard product.
This has been discussed on the forum earlier, I just can't trace the topic now.
You should search for 12 gauge short blancs (their code HV-0606 ?)
