Cast Aluminum Tiger I Anhangerkupplungen for sale

Post by Brian Leach »

Howdy All,

I have made some Tiger I Anhangerkupplungen.

I am selling these for US $60. Postage included in the US, $5.00 to Europe, maybe more for other countrys. That would be regular mail. Special mailing would be at cost.

At the moment I am not including the pins, though iI will in the future (I don't have the time now) and I need a new chuck
I will make them in a few weeks, before the Armortek open house which I am going to attend.

Here is the top front

As you can see the pieces are cast in Aluminum than machined
to look like the Bovington TI. I think Steve Winstone's beautiful castle nuts would look great on this!

This is the Tow hook on the Bovington TI

The Anhangerkupplungen is cast in aluminum, cleaned up and milled, but I intend to leave the casting inperfections and much of the flash on the split line. The user than can finish it to his preference. Some of the castings were pretty coarse on the TI

There is a post in the Tiger forum under http://www.armortek.co.uk/forum/viewtop ... sc&start=0 which may be useful.

Hello everyone!

I thought a picture of the second lot might be interesting to you.

Some of you may have noticed these are slightly different than the last lot. I took a small bit off the top and bottom of the "tang" in the center to give the edge a more "even" look. I don't know which is more accurate but I like this a bit more :? Who knows which is best.

Please send me a note if you are interested or I have forgotton anything.

Good Day
Brian

Germany just beat Ghana,

Hello everyone,

I have just received one of these aluminum Anhangerkupplungen in today's mail. Brian has done a masterful job of capturing the rough, cast texture of the real 1:1 part. The machined surfaces appear to be absolutely spot-on. The dimensions and such all measure-out perfectly. And, it has been great to deal with Brian from beginning to receipt. I look forward to his next Tiger I offering! If you haven't ordered one of these yet, you have no reason to to be hesitant.

There are some remarkable craftsmen in this community. It has been wonderful to do business with each and every one of them. Please encourage Senor Leach (he's in Arizona, don't ya know!) to continue his efforts, as I think he is on the fast track to joining the ranks of the highly valued and truly talented Seller's here in the "Craftsman's Market".

Best wishes,

Woody

Hi Brian,

this Anhängerkupplung is a piece of art. Got it today and it apeares in my hand even better than on the photos in the forum. The surface is most impressive and the cutting/milling is perfect in measurement and quality. Thank you !

Wonder what the next part is on your list. Keep things going this direction and you will enjoy a lot of builders around the world. Thanks again and

best regards Roland
