Help with Sherman paint
Recently bought a partly assembled sherman and I was amazed at the extent of reaction/corrosion on the surfaces of the different adjoining metals (nothing had been painted except the turret). The deterioration wasnt major and I have now cleaned it off, but I think it shows the importance of correct priming/painting of some components before assembly. I have disassembled everything and etch primed and now painted with a normal primer. My query is what top coat paint to use. I would prefer to use spray cans and I see that Flair do a matt olive drab in spray cans but being new to the tank scene I am not sure whether this is the correct colour. Can anyone give me advice as to what paint to use?
