Here are pictures of the TT39 engine intake grill covers, the 6 mesh size I first mentioned in a earlier post as being correct scale for these grills may not be available. The problem is the company have a minimum order of 100 square feet, which is about 10 times more than I need. If however I get enough orders for these I may purchase it anyway, but I need enough orders to cover the cost. If this does not happen I will go with the 8 mesh as shown in the pictures. If anyone knows were to get the 6 mesh in smaller sizes I would be interested to hear about it.
These grills are designed on the real ones and were bolted to the engine grills which would appear to be upside down, that is the correct way to fit them. If you check pictures in "Germany's Tiger Tanks VK45.02 to Tiger II" you can see this on pages 128 and 129.
