I am now offering the Tiger 2 grill sets at pre-production prices, estimated delivery time around 2 to 3 months. By doing this I am able to judge how many sets I need to make. I need to sell around 10 sets of each to make it worth while putting these into production. I can make lesser numbers but that would increase the retail price.

TT39 T2 Engine Intake Grills Set of 4.
These grills will be made with photo-etched brass frame with 6 mesh (6 squares per inch) soldered into the frame. I was not able to make a prototype frame as the frame in 6 scale is only and 1/8" with to much detail to hand make. What is shown is a plastic cut out made from the photo-etch artwork so you can see the fit.

Pictured is a sample of the round grills, these will be made with a 1/16" round brass circle with 6 mesh wrapped around it as per the real grills.
TT41 T2 Engine Intake Over Grills Set of 2
These will be made with a photo-etched brass frame with 8 mesh (8 squares per inch) soldered into the frame.
Note the width of the front frame is thinner than the rear flame. The bolting tabs are not on the prototype, these will be on the production parts. I am also undecided as the wether the cutout over the round grill is curved or square cut. See real picture below. Anyone that has seen a real one maybe able to clear this up. I am working from period pictures and not drawings which show a square cutout.
TT42 T2 Engine Intake Cover Plates Set of 4
These will be hand cut from .030" brass sheet, raisers and 1" x 4-40 bolts included. The head of a 4-40 bolt is very close to correct scale. You may need to re-tap or drill out the holes in the deck to use these.

I do need someone to test fit the prototype of the TT41 over grill, if your T2 is advanced enough in assembly, live in the USA and would like to do the test for me, let me know.
