Hi Clive,
I have seen them mate, only problem is they are often drilled, and what looks right in the picture, is wrong when it arrives!
thanks anyway, Paul.

Hi Paul
How did you get on with the hinge from this supplier?
Was it any good?
I am still looking for some to use on my Stug.

Just saw this post, these model airplane hinges and I beleive are made in China, the actual hinge is some sort of alloy coated to look like brass, the hinge pin is iron or steel a rusts very easily. If you use these I recommend changing the hinge pin to a brass one as soon as you get it.
If they are all brass please let me know, the ones I purchased here in the US were not and I originally used them on my Tiger I mudguards and found they rusted which is why I ended up making my own custom ones for the mudguards.
Regards
Mike

The seller claims they're made in Spain. We'll see - mine are due to arrive next week. Thanks for the warning Mike. Stephen

Hi Guys,
To answer all the questions, this company sells two sizes, I bought both sizes and found it is the larger one that meets my 6th scale needs, please note(My 6th scale needs). I am using it for the rear tyre door on the Sdkfz 7 and also on my King tiger rear mudguards.
Mike,
I have cut into it it and it looks like brass, according to the web page it is from a Spanish suppler. you might be better going direct as they are not cheap at £5 a foot.
Paul.
