Richie,
I am with you on making a crawler. I want one too. But I want a D-8 size. I experimented with machining the front idler from a cast iron caster wheel. They came out pretty good. The iron caster wheels are pretty cheap, about $10 each, but very inconsistent as far as rib and rim thickness etc.

Personally, I would like Armortek to offer the US M3 Lee/Grant, as seen in the Humphrey Bogart movie "Sahara" .....what a nice / different tank that would be. With only the Sherman, I think it would make a nice US addition.

Hi Bob

very nice, and cheap too 8) , i know a man that can make tracks! but he is very busy :( i think it would be a good model to build, something different i.e no one make Crawlers or dozers. there may be a good market in these, and quite easy to build i would have thought, compared to the tanks.
