Martin, sign up to PhotoBucket.com - it's free.

Upload the photos from your PC to your PhotoBucket album and once they are there, to the side of each photo, in a box marked "Share this image", there is a link for "IMG Code".

Copy everything in that window, between and including the [img]and[/img] tags, into your message on this forum.

When you click on the Preview button, you should see the image appear in your message.

Any problems, drop me a PM.

Adrian.

Hi Martin,

Great pics of this rare variety of the SdKfz.
Have you used the Dragon Panzerbüchse 41 for your conversion or is it scratchbuilt ?
Are you going to "downgrade" the 222 to a 221 as well ?
Cheers,

I wish it was scratch built, but no it is the Dragon 41. It was the gun that gave me the idea. One of the issues i have is that every type, configeration of turret and chassis seems to be used or retro fitted. there does not seem to be any real plans or scale drawning. there is a new book out from tankograd.com on the 221/222 etc and i am waiting for that to see what that shows.

Hi Martin,

In the book Panzerspähwagen by Uwe Feist and Robert Johnson, published by Ryton Publications, there are some pages dedicated to the SdKfz 221 with a Pb 41.

Ad, i took your views on board and desided that you had a point, much as i thought it would be a big job. It turned out to be much easier than i thought! When i looked at converting the engine compartment back to the High back model, i thought it would be difficult to get the angles right and spent a day trying to work it out and then my brian woke up and the angle were realy easy and the shapes were easy. i was making it too complicated in my mind. i will post pictures later of the back once the primer dries. i now plan to remove the front double visors and replace with the old single one. i am not sure what else i will do then, so more ideas please.

Hi Martin,

There are various things you may want to change, it all depends on how far you want to go.
Do you need pictures on the 221 (with PB 41) ? Just send me your e-mail address per PM and I can mail you some.
Cheers,
