Hi guys
No Steven its not Botany Bay.
I better add a bit of info here. Blayney is a small country town about 300 klm west of Sydney. During the 2nd world war it was a staging destination for the japanese/german prisoners of war on their way to a prisoner of war camp located about another 60 klms west again. I dont know if you have heard of the "Cowra Break" but its not one of our finer moments either.
Hope this clears it up.
Regards
Rick

Hi Nick, hi Steve
Steve, its no problem no offence taken. Nick, yes you are right its a pretty little country town. We go there often to the cattle sales and the wine festivals. If you would like to send me a PM with some contact numbers of your friends who have imigrated I will look them up and say "howdy". It was a big breakout of the camp and a lot of japanese were shot while escaping. Today there are ancestors, culture and some buildings from the prisoners who remained in the town after the war ended including Japanese gardens and the like.
Regards
