Hi Nick,

I'd be interested in a meeting/club, be nice to see each others tanks and swap ideas etc. I live in Bristol, but I don't mind traveling a bit.

Regards,

Sarah

You've got the South West Tank Club, Allan Webster or Stuart Holden would be your men to talk to or the UK Tank Club South West Light of Foot Division, and that would be Dave Pengelly, all fellow Armortek owners on here.

Hi,

I think the South West Tank Club is in Devon, it would be nice to have something nearer to Bristol. I gather there are a few Tank people in or very close to Bristol.

Rgards,

Sarah

Hi Nick and Sarah
I live in Oxford so if a grouping formed near the Bristol area that would be great as I for one would find it easier to travel the hour or so get there. I don't think other areas would loose participants, they would gain from a greater level of association of people who would become more active in their involvement, which I again, would be one!
So it would be great if something did get off the ground!
Best wishes
Steve

Hi Guys/Girls,

In answer to your question of "where the SWTC is based" we are in fact spread out over a large area and are getting to a stage now where members who live close to each other get togeather for they own little meetings at times and then during the time of year when the shows are on we all meet up then.
Being a member of the SWTC also gives you the benefit of useing our proving ground based near Newton Abbot which next year (2010) we will be having a couple of weekends down there as we now are able to camp on site so we plan to have a few things going on.
We have just recently had our AGM and now have a new membership sec and after the AGM minutes is released to present members who could not attend I will post the membership sec e-mail address on here so anybody interested in further details of the club can contact him directly.

I know Allan Webster's contact details   but I think Chris already has your query covered. It is, in fact, Holger Beck, also a member of this forum, who is the best person to contact about membership of the SW Tank Club . If I can be of any help, please feel free to contact me here through PM or email on allandwebster@yahoo.co.uk
