As my P3 has been running for some time now i have a problem with both gearboxes leaking oil,5-7ml ea,i did fit trays under them when i assembled the P3 as the leaks showed up on the test run,i recently ran 1.5klm without stopping and as a result have added more oil to the trays
Has anyone else had this problem?
Not an easy fix either

We know of no known issue around these gearboxes having an oil leak problem that causes any form of failure. It is entirely possible that the boxes you have may have been a little over filled initially and are discarding excess.
In the extremely unlikely event of these motors failing due to a manufacturing issue we would of course replace them, however there are tens of thousands of these gearboxes in commercial use all over the world and we are not aware of any inherent design issue.

Thanks Mark for the reply,i posted the question to see if i was the only one,i wanted to know if anyone had a similar problem,as i am going to use the same manufacturers motor/gearbox for another project i am working on ,a 1/3 scale steam roller, electric tanks work great so i thought why not an electric roller,i have built 2 steam versions in the past but didn't want to repeat the exercise,,thanks again
