Benedini encoder

Post by Steve Norris »

I have just fitted a Benedini encoder to my Futaba T7C and cannot get the sound system to respond to it :? , I have put the Benedini TBS5 into encoder mode and plugged a servo into channel 6 and this responds to the encoder (Moves when you move the encoder dial). has anyone got any ideas.

Hi Steve

When you first use the sound unit with the encoder you have to tell it what sounds you want at each switch position.

First check your board is setup for the encoder. The programming LED should flash once when the power is first switched on. Then you need to program it following pages 10 & 11 of the manual "Installing the soundmodule with encoder control"

If you have already done all this, then your best bet is to email Thomas. He always replies quickly, and sorts most problems.

Hope this helps

Mick
