Open Day Thanks

Post by Stephen White »

Gill, Mark

What can I say? Perfect weather, faultless organisation (although we missed your Pa on car parking), good company and wonderful models. The Armortek family gathering at its best.

Thanks to you both - next year is only 364 days away and by then, we'll know what the next model is. No, I didn't ask. Thanks again - we all appreciated your hard work (and that of all the Armortek team).

Regards

Stephen

Ok There was one Swedish guy at the show that I recognise as the king
of KT research!

Mr Per Sonnervik

Being a mere mortal I did not dare to introduce myself?

Popycock in reality as the KT is far to heavy for me

Never the less it was great to see him!

Regards Stewart

Open Day Apologies

Post by StevenFlint »

Hi Gill and Mark,
I just wanted to write and say how dreadfully sad :( I feel that I missed the open day yesterday, looking at the pictures it seems you had a glorious day and I only wish that I could have been a part of it, if only to have been able to meet other fellow tankers. Unfortuanately I was playing at being a grandparent, a task that somehow gets bestowed on me quite regular and sometimes at short notice also.

Regardless it is great to look at the pics and see that all had an enjoyable time so it is only left for me to say I hope to meet you all maybe next year.
Regards
Steve.

PS Tiger nearly finished, check it out in the Gallery

A big thanks to Gill and Mark plus family, as yet again a great day out. Nice to see the old faces again ( and some do look old ) plus a lot of new ones. The amount of different types of vehicles plus the level of skill and time people have put into them, show's just how far this hobby has gone in the plus few years.

A big thanks to everyone who voted for my Half-Track, as the prize was a flight in a light plane plus having a go at flying it.

Oh, thanks also for the refreshments, made a lot of guys very happy

Thanks Nigel.
