Kits will be available for shipping in about two weeks, longer if the demand is high. I have enough parts cast for 10 kits at the moment.
Here is a brief outline of what is required to fit the upgrade. More detailed instructions will come with the kit.
Armortek cupola and hatch cover will need to be milled out to accept kit hatch arm. The hatch arm could be filed narrower to fit if milling is not a option.
Periscope holes will need to be enlarge with square corners for periscope housings to fit, it will also need a ridge milled to accept the flange on the housing. Housing can be cut to fit if milling is not an option.
When periscope is fitted it should protrude as shown. The cut slits in the cupola will need to be filled as these are to wide for the correct scaled armored covers in the kit.
Periscopes should be glued in place before fitting the armored covers.
Periscope covers are glued in place central over the periscope. Once fitted weld lines can be added to cover the original filled in slits, this will also help secure the covers.
When the covers are fitted the open and close hatch stops can be fitted.
Here is a diagram of the cupola with parts fitted. The long bolt and compression spring will keep the hatch cover in place when opened and closed.
