General Update
We are just finishing packing up for Tankfest and will now be out of the office until Monday. It looks like there is going to be a good presence of Armortek customers and models so looking forward to seeing you all there.
We are now down to just 3 kits out of our final allocation of 104 King Tiger kits so if you are still 'thinking' about it please do not wait any longer! We will not produce this kit again until at least 2013 at the very earliest!!
We have started to despatch the Motion Pack for the King Tiger and will continue with these despatches next week. We are sorry that this has taken longer than at first anticipated.
Manufacturing of the second batch of King Tiger kits is nearly complete and we will be starting to despatch kits to customers next month.
We will shortly be commencing the second batch of Panzer III's which will be available for delivery in the Autumn.
After that will come the new Mid Tiger 1 for delivery early 2010 and after that ................. keep your suggestions coming in.

Next build
I think a Grant or Lee. Two guns on servos, lots of rivets, lots of detail and the chassis is ready to go.

Hi everyone
If it has to be Russian, a T34 with an optional 85 turret (similar to the Tiger II Henschel/Porsche) would be a very neat offering. Personally I'm not an Eastern Front kinda guy but I do like the early T34/76.
Have fun at Bovington everyone!
Regards
Tim

Hi Mark & Gill,
Enjoy the Tankfest weekend and remember to take some photo's please
.
Regarding the next tank for 2010 I also thought of the T34 as being the next obvious step but we now have 2 in our group so I would like to see another small tank in the American M24 Chaffee. For the period it was a great improvement on the Stuart and could be, as it's quite small, be more affordable and no where near as complex as the Grant seen in the background

On October 15, 1943 the first pilot vehicle was delivered and production began in 1944 under the designation Light Tank M24. It was produced at two sites; from April at Cadillac and from July at Massey-Harris. By the time production was stopped in August 1945, 4,731 M24s had left the assembly lines. Some of them were supplied to the British forces.
Thanks Antony
