garden shed makeover

Post by Jeffrey Goff »

Inspired by other peoples workshops, I spent the weekend creating a small room in my garden shed, plenty of light, to use the small mini mill, and drill, back to the 222 build tomorrow.
where do you build your models,

Great to see where you perform your magic Jeff :D

I'm currently selling off a load of stuff that's been in my garage for years in the hopes that it will:

a) create enough room to be able to build in there.
b) create enough profit I can add to my stock of tools.

The missus doesn't seem to like it when my silver soldering sets off the smoke alarm...

Jeff,
Thanks for the kudos on my work. Thats a nice looking little mill. You have the talent as well. If you can make it by hand, you can make it with a machine. With a little practice on your mill you will be amazing us with your creations. Enjoy the whole new world of machining! Its a perfect complement to building tanks!

Great job by the way on your 222...

I see there's still a lot i need to learn about working with metal kits.
I'm building the King Tiger and its the first metal kit i'm gonna make, and the first kit after 15 years of having build anything...

Hi Sven, that's going to be a superb workshop, with that sort of dedication to the KT build, I would make sure you add a bedroom, just in case your other half locks you out :D regards

Hey guys,

I'm going to be happy if one tank comes out of it this year...

Still some bricks to place, a roof and solarpanels.Oh yes and 2 windows and a big door for when there's a bigger scale model available...

My second 1/2 has no problem yet but when i really start building the KT it might change

For now i only made this so far in a small place...

But enough here about the KT and the soon to be Tank Factory...

Back to the 222, More pictures of that and the fine work to make it as real as possible...

Greetings from Belgium
