Panzer 4 Back on track.

Hi Fellas.
Just thought i would post a couple of pics of a Panzer 4 i have just finished for James, she was in a bit of a poor and rusty state when he bought her and nothing was working properly, but here she is with a nice new coat of Paint and and a full rewire.

Thanks for posting the pictures of your PIV. It's nice to see the "original" Armortek model that first really piqued my interest in 1:6 RC armor. I only have the constructor's manual.

Excellent paint job, weathering and nice work on the schurzen.

Great looking PZ4! What a neat model with the additional turret armor. The paint and weathering are fantastic. It looks like its been bleached by years in the sun. I have to double look at the paint chips to see if they are real.

I was thinking the same thing as Lee, amazing what a good paint job will do for an otherwise stock model.

Would love to see some more PZ4 pix. Pretty rare breed, first of many from Mark and Gill...

Fantastic paint work, you've done a wonderful job, it really looks the business. Was the Panzer IV sat on the shelf waiting to be done or was it a recent purchase, would love to see armortek do a re-release.

The model does not belong to me unforunately, i have done the work for a customer who found the model for sale in the back room of a model shop in its bare metal state that you can see in the befor pics, nothing was working properly at all when he brought it to me so the whole model was taken apart and put back together again and the shurtzen were scratch built after scaling up from drawings, the doors on the shurtzen open and close. Then a complete new re wire and then paint, I must be honest and tell you that i tried to buy it from him but he would not sell .

Paul that is a sweet P4. I Can understand you wanting to buy it! Can't blame your customer for wanting to keep it! I'd like to make one from the plans - but I need to retire first <aka that will never happen>.

I just wanted to publicly say a REALLY BIG THANK YOU to Paul for all his hard work; he's really made my Panzer IV the best that it can be, it's even better that I imagined!

I would highly recommend him if anyone ever wants any professional work doing, he's a really good guy.
