I'm certainly looking forward to seeing the latest MTB from Armortek. Challenger 2 8).Looking back to 2019 BC (Before Covid). I remember all the wonderful stories and reminiscing looking back on Chieftains long prestige's history and the excitement surrounding it before the release of the model.

Challenger 2 will be around much longer in one form or another due to it's ability to upgrade in one form or another even in Challenger3 guise.
Like most modern AFV's there's not a lot on the market to add to the model like the Models based in WW2 era.

But fear not, it's still possible to add those final touches if you know where to look.

I'm hoping Dave Dibbs (Armorpax) will add some must haves to the kit like he did with Chieftain. Available at the moment are the loaders MG mount along with Ammo boxes, MG parts, BV, wipers, Togs mount, tools and stove.

Keep an eye out for the Hot toys British Tank Commander, Blues and Royals Afghanistan (2008) it turns up now and then on ebay. But beware although a very detailed set, it's also very flimsy, especially the head set. Maybe Dave will cast a more robust head set and helmet in the future, like he made bone dome for Chieftain, if you ask him nicely. :D

The Armorpax BV and Stove are excellent, these were painted for me by Charles Stewart because I'm rubbish at painting, other items can be picked up here and there as you see them. Fridge magnets, Even tiny presents DV and BL for the 1/6 kiddies  .
