2025 ARMORTEK KIT SURVEY

Over the last few years we have brought out a whole series of kits as a direct result of your feedback - kits like the Pershing, JagdPanther, Hetzer, Leopard 2A4, and more recently the Sd Kfz 7, 88mm Flak 36 and the upcoming Challenger 2.

So, in keeping with what has become and annual tradition, here is your opportunity to once again influence our future production plans.

We have added in some "guide pricing" next to the names of the models. This is a rough estimate of the price at the current rates.

Thanks in advance for your input and we look forward to the results.

Wood Burners

Post by Adrian Harris »

Wood Burners are the must have of the upwardly mobile middle class, so when one came up for sale on Facebook Marketplace locally, I decided to buy it.

I do think it's going to take quite a long time to heat the house with it though

You might notice on the bottom left that there is the outline of a smoker box. Having seen what my ex could produce with a 60W CO2 LASER, I wanted to see what this 20W diode one could do, so knocked up a smoker box gasket in Fusion.

Amazon delivered some Flexoid oil-resistant paper last week so, having used standard A4 printer paper to learn the GUI in LightBurn, I gave it a go with the Flexoid to make some gaskets. The picture above shows a smoker box filled with baby oil, to see how well the gasket performs.

I have some projects in the pipeline which will require LASER cut aluminium parts, so will use this one to mock them up in plywood or MDF to test the size and fit etc.
