Hi Guys
I have the sound unit for the Panther and I am wondering
if it is possible to use bigger speakers with the built in amp.
Also could the built in amp work as a preamp for a car type booster amp.
Has any one done this?

I would urge extreme caution. One of the reasons we going to a new amp design is that the existing unit is not robust. A single larger speaker will improve performance, particularly at lower frequencies. The amp will not reliably drive two speakers, either in series or in parallel. Any attempt to use it as a pre amp is likely to destroy the input stage of a booster amplifier.

The output from the existing amp would be far too much as an imput to the second amp as Mark says. It depends on how confident you are with electronics but what you need to do is remove or disconnect the input to the existing amp and use this as the input to a more powerful amp, such as the ones available from Maplins (http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=5292). The one I've linked should do the trick with a couple of decent speakers you could blow the neighbours away. Anything louder would be unrealistic.
