Split pins for me and I am probably the only person who has done a lot of running at shows and Bovington since the build and apart from replacing the drive sprockets (because I think they wore down during experimenting during the build) I have not had any problems.
Dennis.

Lots done although it doesn't look like it. I must add that if you use the split pins rather than the nice pins from Armorpax the tracks will work to a fashion from the box.

Hi Phil,
Is that sprocket in plastic or metal Phil ?

I think Phil is selling himself short here.
An immense amount of thought and work has gone into getting the tracks right, particularly the sprockets. A big thanks from me to him for this and to Mike and Vince for their help.
It's looking like it's going to be a big improvement over the stock kit but I guess only time will tell on that one. If this does prove to be the case, which having spoken to Phil I'm confident it will be, a little recognition from Armortek wouldn't go amiss IMO.

Thanks Dave! Dennis it's a 3d print in pla just to get the fit right but they seem very resilient, steel sprockets can be made either by cnc or using the 3d print as a template in what ever material you choose.
The final sprocket ring mk3 is working well, tracks are nice to.
If you want to discuss a potential sprocket ring as a pattern along with track suitability details do not reply on the thread please email me, I hope this is ok boss? ptwoollard64@hotmail.com

This is looking great. Very pleased with the running and a nice upgrade from Armorteks unofficial R&D team.
I've asked Phil for a final build that will be robust and hence limit the amount of maintenance. The replacement sprockets should help achieve this.

A couple of hours done today.
We are moving forward with offering an after market sprocket ring set, so to go any further we would like to know who would be interested, see the craftmans market post.

I want to get the other track finished asap as the radio should be here very soon. Just had a call from dhl Dave and they said they had run out of delivery time today but will deliver tomorrow, at least they let us know!
