Hi Marco,
i use Mr. Surfacer 500 and mix it with some sand from a pet-shop with a diameter of approx. 90 mikrometer. After the first layer there comes two layers with Mr. Surfacer without sand to smooth the surface a little bit.
Here are some new photos from the roof with the covers and the o-rings....

after a very long time of doing anything at the Jagdpanther i start again with the next mounting process.
Here are the next photos of the hull and the covers on the bottom and the side. They are all scratch built.

Hi Bob,
thank you for the nice words. Here are the next covers, the first swing arms and the first welding seams.
I had closed the corners in the sheet over the tracks with another sheet and two srcews. The headlight on the mudguard got a fake cable and some rivets onto the hinges.

Here begins the first step of weathering and aging of the bottom and the side plates, before mounting the swing arms and the wheels.

In the mean time i prepared the idler wheels and the sprockets for mounting. Also the final drive housing is ready after weathering.
