The paint and weathering look great. I esp like the turret numbers with the prev one dabbed out, looks very authentic. The close ups look like a real P3 in a museum. Fantastic work,

Hi All,

Finally collected my Panzer III from Paul today

. As usual it was a pleasure and to say I'm delighted is an under statement. Thanks to Paul for building it and a big thanks to Mark & Gill for making such a brilliant model. Easy to run and so smooth, I particularly love the way the tanks "rocks" on it's suspension when starting and stopping. Superb

Everything I asked for and much more has been done. A couple of extra's need to be seen so I'll take a video in the next few days

Before I take the video I'll have to program the figure too

Good job I've still got the instructions as it's an original Vince Abbot one. Anyway some photo's of my Panzer III:

we just need to find Antony a desert to run it in now!

You have moved on so well from offering paint jobs to us lot, to now offering these comprehensive builds. There isnâ€™t anyone else in the north that is offering out of the box builds with upgrades, and or full paint and detailed weathering! Out standing mate, so much so, I am going to bite the bullet and let you finish my KT, I couldnâ€™t finish it anything like what you are doing. I will ring you later in the week to arrange collection.

Hi Paul,

I am trying to figure out how to get all the electronics into my PIII without the gun elevation motor hitting something when the turret rotates.

The setup you show in Antony's PIII looks like the elevation motor would hit the auxiliary module. Am I missing something?

Also your stack of three modules looks lower than mine, assuming that you have the mounted to the removable floor, did you do something different?

Any help appreciated.

When fitting the brilliant new Tannoy speakers i used the mounting brackets, and noticed when the speakers are then attached there is a fair bit of wobble due to the weight of the speaker itself, so i have used some of the packing from the speaker box cut down of course, and fitted under the front of the speaker to form a cushion it works very well as the packing is formed to the shape of the speaker.
P.S. Ant yes its very yellow same as befor no time to paint the shed so i think you get the flash bouncing back off the yellow stain of the walls

Hi David.

You are correct the elevation motor would have collided with this set up, however the elevation motor was not fitted on this build I installed something else instead P.M. or e mail for info. The stack of three units was just fitted to the floor above the torsion bars,I did open up the mounting holes slightly that allowed a screwwd rod to pass through all three boxes with a washer and wing nut to secure the top box... other than that I do not think anything other than the kit parts was used... but I will look through my photo's tonight and let you know for sure.
