Hi Dale, thanks for the thought on the 222, that model is using the pedestal mount, and I have the Toadman CD that shows that mount in detail, if it had the other mount I would have bought it straight away.
PS, glad to have you back on the forum, it was like losing family

Emailed these as well. Hope it's useful. Although these are on a NEU turret I imaging the late style, early version turret pivot mounts were the same. Not the best reference but you can clearly see the side pivot points. The seats and radio were suspended from the turret ring.

Great model for reference Dale. I like using a 1/35 model as well, nothing like having a 3D part to visualize how to make it bigger.

Amazing how cramped and small the 222 is inside. Barely room for one person in drivers area! I didn't realize it was so small. I feel sorry for the poor driver?

finally got some work done today, the first in 10 days, I go to the hospital to get one of my eyes checked, (the reason every thing is fuzzy is that you have a cataract) breath a sigh of relief and head home, only to wake up the next day with Man-flu, its funny the things you pick up in hospital.
Nearly there on the inside, just the levers and hand brake around the drivers chair, and the metal frame on the floor behind the drivers chair, all the pictures I have show this empty, anybody know its purpose?

This looks like looking at a real 222 in a museum. Absolutely amazing detail!

I hope everything turns out ok with your eyes- its hard to do what we do without good eyesight!

Jeff this is absolutly phantastc. I like it very much. Your attention to detail is outstanding. It is an inspiration for me to go on with my progress on my Tiger turret inside. Ones my jack is completed I will carry on with the turret.

you've got to be cheating, that must be a real one, absolutely superb.

this is the last of the inside details, have made the various brake and gear levers, and put in the wiring for the lights, the front end can be assembled, and then I will make the headlights, then start on the turret and armament

What no stitched leather seat cover??? Are you going to cover the seat or leave it bare? The details are abolutely amazing Jeff - fantastic work!

Hi Bob, yes it will have the leather pads that strap on to the frame, but as the seat is removable like the original, it will done at leisure, I have been raising the headlight bodies tonight, and have used copper instead of brass, will post some pictures when finished
