Hello Simon,
Next year i'am gonna try to come to tankfest.
Do you gonna bring your KT, if you going to tankfest?
Steve W gonna make the bins for me for my future panther,
Last week he send me his panther exhausts ( the ones with to fans on top )
Hopefuly make Armortek after the tiger batch a panther.
Best regards Yves

Re: King Tiger Porsche Turret Build
this rear hatch was a challenge, steve winston supplied me the cast parts and i did the rest, i altered most of the parts to suit as the Porsche rear hatch is smaller, some work still to do but getting there, regards simon manning.

Re: King Tiger Porsche Turret Build
hello to the forum, just a little progress on the tiger, getting the rear hatch to fit took some effort, the large mesh grills were made by lord winstone of waltham abbey and very nice they are, the rear deck is next on the list, regards simon manning

Re: King Tiger Porsche Turret Build
thanks uwe, this is the best i could do with the snorkel cover, a difficult item to get a good picture of, all made of aluminium on the lathe and the lifting fins out of sheet, fellow forum member colin barrett made the snorkel cover, and i finished it off, his lathe skills were of much help on this item, i will tone all the color down once the rear deck is all complete. regards simon manning.
