Hi All,

After a very frustrating day of re-cutting, moving bits, head scratching and reviewing a whole host of pics (again and again) I finally have the upper brackets for the 50 cal done. I need to add weld detail and tidy them up but at least the first pair of 50's are now mountable.

I really have no idea where to start with the lower front bracket yet

Cheers

Dave

Hi All,

A better day today, got the seat done and the upper brackets finished.

Apart from the lower set of gun brackets I have the control column, gun sight, front shield and a few small detail parts to do and then hopefully just the Generator (which is a kit in itself).

Regards

Dave

Hi Dave

Like everyone has already said, amazing work as always. The best compliment I can think of is when I was looking at a real one up close I said to myself "that looks just like Dave's".

I would love to have an M16 with that piece in the back!

kind regards
Tim

Hi All,

I havn't posted anything on the Quad for a few weeks but thats not to say it hasn't progressed

The reason for the lack of posts is the time its taken to get the generator built. It was always going to be a fairly complex piece but I had no idea how many parts it would comprise

I have also made the last couple of internal parts and apart from the lower gun brackets thats almost it.

I have the gunsight and control handles to make and also the electrical junction box that goes above the batteries but they are all fairly easy pieces.

Providing I have no problems with the front lower gun brackets (I keep putting them off  ) there is no reason the Quad won't be finished for War and Peace in July.

Best regards

Dave
