I use an App called Imgur to upload, then I go to my browser and visit the Imgur website and copy the “bbc” code. That code will paste into your forum post and make a picture.

The "kids" will be down for Thanks Giving. I'll get them to help me with it.

Lame, I know but at 67 this technology has got me all buggered.

We have pretty bad experience with third party picture hosting sites here. When Photobucket changed their policy, a lot of build stories here lost their pictures and were rendered useless. Another service retained their policy, but changed the url, resulting in pretty much the same thing. If you want your build log to survive, I suggest you upload the pictures to the forum with the "attachments" button instead.

Wow, really great. Glad to see it, Brian.

No track slippage!

Did you have to move your drive sprockets out? Or are they fully up against the transmission case?

Tom

They are tight against the final drive cases.

Very nice Brian, great job!
So, what is the final track link count on each side that you finally ended up with?

Larry

I have lost or stripped out all my original taperlock bushing screws. I got some SAE replacements at the local hardware store. The replacement screws from the hardware store have a “cup” point that won’t loosen the bushing. So I just ordered these ones. They have the oval point like the ones supplied with the kit. I hope they are the correct thread. It seems they are the only American threaded part in the Armortek kit? I stripped out or lost all the originals in the dirt. The ones I found at the local hardware store only worked to tighten and not loosen the bushings because they had a “cup” point. Very confusing because the kit parts take a metric 3mm hex key but the replacements I have used take a 1/8” hex key. Is there some explanation for this?

Brian,

I haven't had those issues with my taperlock bushing. I'm careful not to over tighten the screws and also, I use thread lock blue to help keep them from backing out.

Another option possibly is to re-tap the holes to accept a clean 4 or 5mm grub screw.

cheers... Tom

I just got home from a road trip and got my new set screws installed. They fit perfect.

Worn in.
Is there anything left of the paint on the tracks?

Yes Christoffer, the black paint is everywhere that does not touch the wheels or the ground. The areas that touch the wheels are completely worn down to the metal, and so are the pads that touch the ground.
