DECKING
I decided to fit the decking after I had fitted all the tool clamps to the bare mudguards by rivetting them on so I had to grind off the rivet backs to remove them. After learning from this I am now waiting for the postman to deliver 100 10ba nuts and bolts to secure the decking and tool clamps. Then its back to etch primer and painting.

I like the decking, coming along great. If you want to make it look better don't use bolts to hold the decking on use round head screws, that is how it was held together on the real thing. You can get them from micro fasteners, size 0-80 is right for 1/6 scale - I scaled them from the real thing.

Mike thanks for the info, but I have allready ordered the hex headed bolts.
Looking at various pictures of the real thing it seems like a mixture of fastenings was used but the pictures are not all that clear.
