Great modifications Robert. I'm taking note of all of them for my Tiger 1. Really nice work.

Some Tiger work today.
Trying to fix the height of the turret roof, and that it looks somewhat right like a late Tiger.

And also a big rubber mallet and my thumb. What can possible go wrong.

Have a nice Easter and stay safe.

Next is a bit tricky.
The fit of the turret roof not so good.
Have to try to do something about that.
Maybe I will put brass straps on the insid turret wall.

Ps. I gratefully accept tips on how to solve this without screwing the roof to the turret.

Stay safe and take care.

Just an idea.
If you apply a simulated Milliput weld seam it should hide that gap.

I dont have a Tiger so this is a thought, if it were mine I might try to take it apart , bring the outer walls in and secure it back together, looks like it wasnt assembled right in the first place, all of my Stug parts that are supposed to be tight so far have been.

Hello Vince
Yes I did read something about to put CA glue on it to do it harder. But I do not know if it's ok.

I used normal Milliput.

Hi Robert, on my Tiger there is similar gap. I filled it with thin strip of metal on both sides, of 0.5-0.6mm thickness. The thin metal strip will protect the miliput weld seam from getting broken off as you lift off the turret roof. My turret roof is also removable and held with magnets.

At last I am finished with the extra holder for the jack.
It has been very tedious, a lot of small parts.
My eys and fingers are not are not like they were when I was young.

Have a nice day and stay safe.

They came out fine and you are more patient than me.
Did you make the 20T jack also?
Which CAD are you using?

Hello Vince

No. the jack I bought from Mark Lawson.
I use Fusion 360, and I like it.

If you want I can send you the original F360 files to compliment the .stl files that I sent you recently. That way you can easily make changes as required.
