Hello,

Here a little update on the stug,

Drill and tap thread M3 in the front armorplate, for the extra bar of the tracklinks

Image

Put some extra detail on the roof and later comes a telescoop in the opening.

Made also a extra detail on the smoke dischargers

Hi Yves, Nice... I think I might copy your idea here... an extra bar of track links can be a nice addition to the model as quit a lot of StuG's drove around with a provision like that.
The bar from what I have seen, often extended over to the sides and was welded on there, but the two holes you added here on the front can be used very well to simulate that type of construction too... :)

Hello Roy,

Thanks for the compliments.
I know that normaly the trackholder is weld on the side (or screws )
There are maybe different thinks to put a tracklink bar on ( i like to use some of my own inspiration  )
but one of the things is that i am gonna place the trackholder last on my build because if you
put the track bar on you cant get the tracklinks in because the conehead bolts are in the way,
so first i have to paint the stug before i can put the tracklinks behind the bar.

Best regards Yves

Yes indeed. I know and buyed enough milliput allready.

Is somebody using the StuG parts from armorpax? I found parts from the commander hatch quite nice. Are some other parts from armorpax usefull?

cheers
Florian
