Re: Tiger1 " tard-mid" !!??
A change that I have not yet seen done by anyone.
My model (2010) has incorrect dimensions of the barrel and sleeve. I modified
the sleeve to lengthen it and bring it to the correct size. I also wanted to redo the most similar rod to the real one. I bought the FOA muzzle brake and this is the comparison with Armortek's. Neither of them corresponds to the measurements "Tiger1 info1". I think there were more types mounted on Tiger1.

Re: Tiger1 " tard-mid" !!??
Great work as usual Ivano. I think the dimensions of the muzzle brake as shown on tiger1.info are for those fitted on early and mid Tiger1s. The late Tiger1s had a smaller and lighter muzzle brake which was actually the same as fitted on the King Tiger. I don't have these dimensions so do not know how smaller they would have been.
Could you tell me the width of those four grooves in the muzzle brake locking ring? I am thinking of making mine 1.5mm wide.
Vince

Hi Vince,
If you refer to these, I made them 2 mm wide and 4 mm long.
A greeting Ivano

Hello to all,
have any of you built a tiger from the old Armortek production? I have this difficulty: my kit (2010) has supports for Armorpax replacement tracks. Once assembled, they look like this. Has it happened to you too? how did you solve the problem?
Thanks Ivano

Hello Simon
too much space, it's more than 5 mm. the zimmerith must be much thinner, 1 / 2mm.
Hi Marco, have you thought about how to solve the problem?
Thanks Ivano

Hi Steen,
thanks for the reply but, the translator does not help me understand what you mean. Can you explain it better?
Thanks a lot and I'm sorry Ivano
