Nice rebuild going on here Paul - was really good before you started but going to be even better now. I am doing a (very) slow rebuild of the rusty remains of "that" 1331 but wont be up to this standard.

Paul too embarrassed to post my work - its nowhere near the standard you lot come up with. Probably would be a good blog of the "whatever you do, don't do it like this" type. But yes it is the rusty remains of that 1331.

Hi Paul,

Great work on the tiger rebuild watching with great interest. It is also very interesting to see how the early design of the armortek kits were built. Please keep the pictures coming.

Regards

David

Hi All,

I haven''t had time to do much this week, so I thought I would resurrect this post of mine to show how I made the S-mines and launchers. I made the S-mine launchers and S-mines using David Byrden's drawings as well as the measurements from my own S-mine.

This link is to Davids site and I found him very helpful when I was stuck.

Hi Simon,

Haha, defiantly not working, its now in a mine museum down south. Since they introduced Dianna's law and banned antipersonnel mines, it is illegal to own one even if its deactivated! Well fine line there, you can't sell them, which is just the same. It can be used for educational use, so I donated it to Royal Engineers museum and saved myself a lot of hassle

Hi All,

I have finished painting the upper hull and have started working on the deck. I have managed to hide the fillet for the front mudguards this time. a few people said that it stood out at one of the open days, so I've blended it in

The original drivers & radio operators hatch openings looked like this.

So I have widened the hatch and added a hatch ring to make it more like the original.

I have also added the engine vent plate as well as new filter pipes to the engine hatch. These where made by Tim Catton.
