thanks all of you for the good feedback, tow ropes are not laying correctly, lots of parts need some adjustment, but having some photos posted gives me a different view of the build, something to do in long winter evenings, regards simon

Hi Simon,

Lovely build with outstanding paintwork and ditto Zimmerit. I´t a pity you didn´t bring this cat to Open day, perhaps next year or?

I´ve noticed one or two things, if you don´t mind me pointing out some areas for improvement;

-the end of the starter crank that engages the starter, looks like this on your model;

Here´s a photo from Rob Veenendaal´s Panzerbasic DVD showing what it should look like;

-I´ve also noticed that the wing nut lock for the jack block bracket is, on your model, on the left side of the jack block storage but should be on the right side - towards the right side.

Perhaps the last thing would be hard to fix now but I´m sure you can improve on the starter crank end.

/Per

thank you all for your interest, i don't know what i am trying to achieve on this build, just something different from green, brown, and sand color, i'll keep on with the paint till something develops, regards simon.

the porsche turret is a work of art, a complicated jigsaw, no wonder it was dropped after a short run, the real thing must have been very strong. well done mark it must have taken some working out, regards simon.

Hi Simon,

Nice work on your King Tiger Cupola, I like the texture and well worn look about it.
I have one of Mike's upgrade cupola kits for my Panther G, when ever I get around to building that fab kit!

Cheers
Ian
