Moving on with the replacement battery box, I presume it was 24 volts anyone? I shall wire the batteries in series unless I hear different.

Hi Phil,

Carriers were 6v. Pretty sure the two batteries in the bin are for the radio and the one under the radio is the vehicle battery but stand to be corrected. Have you tried putting a meter on them and see what they are outputting :-)

Best regards

Dave

I'm after a photo of the drivers instrument console top cover, it was just a piece of pressed steel sheet to waterproof the cabinet, I have a couple of photos but nothing really clear? Thanks in advance.

Hi Dave Green

Do you have any more pictures of that carrier or a link as I am trying to find reference material for a desert version.

Impressive build Phil as usual.

Hi Dave

I think I got it from the Universal/Bren Carrier Facebook page. Unfortunately I can't get the link so I've uploaded a screenshot to show what to look for. There's lots of reference material on there and quite a few people who know a thing or two about UCs if you have a question.

BTW another photo for Phil too. Cracking stuff from him.

Cheers

Dave

I need to get the Vickers machine gun mount and all the associated storage racks underway before I can finally fit the remaining kit boxes as it's starting to fill up in there.
